Macaroni Beef Soup

Image result for macaroni

Soup or what we normally call "sopas" is my son's favorite breakfast. I love to cook it during cold season or rainy season. It is very affordable and cheap to cook depending on the ingredients you are going to use.

Macaroni Beef Soup

What to Prepare:

4 cloves of garlic, crushed

1 medium onion, sliced

100 g ground beef or pork

1 beef bouillion cube

5 cups water

1 can (227 g) Del Monte Filipino Style Tomato Sauce

100 g salad macaroni

1 medium carrot, cut into small cubes

1/2 cup cooked or frozen peas

Start Cooking:

Saute garlic, onion and beef.

Add bouillon cube, water, Del Monte Tomato Sauce, 1 tsp iodized salt or 1 tbsp rock salt and 1/8 tsp pepper.

Allow to simmer.

Add Del Monte Macaroni.

Cook for 8 minutes.

Add carrot.

Cook for 5 minutes.

Add peas.

Simmer once.

Did you know?

When sauteing with garlic or ginger, always brown them in oil after salt has been added but before any other ingredients. This will bring out the full flavor of ingredients.
